How to install Big Tiles
16 x 16 inch Sandstone tiles are installed over an existing vinyl floor in a kitchen using a butt joint staggered pattern. The layout procedures are shown as well as mixing and using the correct mortar, grouting and sealants.

12 x 12 inch Marble Tile
How to install marble in an entryway over a concrete backer board using a butt joint is demonstrated. The second job is installing backer board over an existing brick fire place, then covering the face and the fireplace hearth with marble tile. The viewer is then shown how to use marble tiles to build a coffee table and how the scrap marble can be used to create an attractive table lamp.

12 x 12 inch Saltillo Tiles (Mexican Paver tiles) are installed on an outside patio over an existing concrete slab. Tiling a set of steps with Saltillo is also shown. Using a decorative blue mosaic tile, the instructor shows how to incorporate different sized tiles in the same field. Using scrap tile, Bruce makes a sea turtle mural in the patio.
