Floor tiles: How to install
8 x 8 inch floor tiles over existing vinyl floors in a kitchen. Some older vinyl floors contain asbestos fibers which can be harmful if you inhale them while removing the flooring. It’s better to tile over the vinyl. Grouting the tile is demonstrated. Sealing the tile joints is also shown.

Wall tiles: How to install
4 ¼ x 4 ¼ inch tile in a tub surround showing two different installations. One procedure is over a green board drywall using organic mastic. The other is tiling over a concrete backer board using a thin-set mortar and acrylic mortar additive. Installing soap dishes and grouting the tile is demonstrated. Finally, caulking the tub is shown.

Counters: How to install
4 ¼ x 4 ¼ inch tiles installed on a kitchen countertop over a concrete backer board. Installing and tiling over the concrete backer board is demonstrated as well as tiling over tile on an outside bar top. Grouting the tile is then demonstrated.
