HOW TO INSTALL WALL TILE This tape will show two types of
wall tile installations. Both are tiling in a three wall
tub enclosure. One is tiling over a green board drywall
material five feet above the tub using an organic mastic
adhesive. The other installation shows tiling over concrete
backer board using this set mortar and acrylic mortar mix
as the setting material. This tub also has a window in
the back wall and the tile is set all the way to the ceiling.
We also show installing a beautiful decorative accent stripe.
The tape explains in detail the correct way to tile the
window area. In both installations, the viewer is shown
how to center the tile on the wall 0r start with the fewest
cuts if that is what they desire. With the use of graphics,
the layout procedures are clearly explained. How to start
with an outside edge and work backwards if needed. How
to make cuts around two types of pipe fixtures and how
to install accessories like soap dishes are also included.
Mixing grouts and what types of grouts are needed for different
types of tile, proper grouting techniques, and how to caulk
around the tub are also covered. With easy to use adhesives,
anyone can achieve beautiful results with wall tile. |
